Tomb of Pir Ali Tahir

There is a tomb made of black stones, a few yards to the west from the west door of the mausoleum of Khan Jahan Ali (R). Like the tomb of Khan Jahan, this one is also made of stones and is founded in 3 layers on the altar that measures 3.36 metres x 2.13 metres (12’ x 7’). Pir Ali Tahir was an especial beloved and son-in-law (husband of his daughter) of Khan Jahan Ali. In the past, Pir Ali was the son of a Brahmin and was known by the name Gobindalal Roy. Later he accepted Islam. His descendants are known as Pir Ali family. The tomb of Pir Ali lies near the mausoleum of Khan Jahan Ali (R).
