Ten Old Shiva Temples of Shlok Village

The ruins of ten old Shiva temples adjacent to Slock Bazar of Shlok Union of Wazirpur Rpazila are found together. After the partition of the country in 1947, the Brahmins of this area left this country for India, and owing to  lack of proper maintenance of these heritages, they are about to be extinct. To the west of these temples, there lies the memory-laden abandoned house of Sen Majumdar. The middle one of the ten temples arranged in U-shape is octagonal and the largest of all in size. Still every year, in Bangla Falgun month (mid February-mid March) Shiva worship is held with pomp and grandeur.
