Fatema Khanam Jami Mosque

The spectacular Fatema Khanam Jam-e-Mosque has been built in modern design and pattern on an extensive area at Banglabazar of Bhola Sadar. The mosque has been named after the mother of Tofael Ahmed, one of the political personalities of Bangladesh and present commerce Minister under whose patronage the constitution was started in 2009. The mosque was inaugurated in 2012. There are, in all, five domes including a big one in the two-storied mosque which is 10,200 square feet in size. There are five chandeliers inside the mosque and the illumination is magnificent.  The mosque was built on 1.60 acres of land and, it is fenced with grills around the outside of the mosque and the inside is covered with green grass. This mosque can accommodate 2500 devotees to say their prayers at one time. The visitors who come to Bhola may have a look at the mosque which is pleasing to the eye.
