Manoj Basu’s House

Manoj Basu an author of prose-fiction was born in 1901 at Dongaghonta village of Keshabpur upazila. He wrote a good number of novels, stories, travelogues and plays. His written novel “Nishikutombo” is famous. Manoj Basu joined the Non-cooperation Movement during the period of 1920-22. He was given Sahitya Academy Award, Sharat Chandra Award, and Motilal Ghosh Award. Manoj Basu died in 1987 in Kolkata. Litterateur Manoj Basu’s house attracts the lovers of literature as of today.
