Jhenaidah Cadet College

Jhenaidah Cadet College is a well known name in the arena of education in Bangladesh. The then East Pakistan Governor Abdul Monem Khan laid the foundation stone of this college on October 18, 1963. Virtually the college started running from 1964. This college stands in agreeable natural surroundings on about one hundred acres of land on the eastern side of the Jhenaidah-Kushtia highway about two kilometres away on the north of Jhenaidah town. Jhenaidah College has three residential hostels. These hostels have been named after the three important battles of the early period of Islam. These are, for example, Badar House, Khaibar House, and Hunain House.
