Mathematician Professor Kalipada’s House

World famous mathematician Kalipada Basu (K.P Basu) raised a palace-like two-storied building with 17 rooms at his birthplace Harishankarpur village under Jhenaidah upazila on one acre of land on the bank of the Nabaganga River in 1907. For mathematics, especially in the matters of algebra, the world remembers him with due honur and respect. He wrote “Algebra Made Easy”, “Modern Geometry” and “Intermediate Solid Geometry” on matters of Mathematics. The architectural beauty of Kalipada Basu attracts the tourists.
