Fatrar Char

If one goes to the west of the seashore one will come across a small river of turbid water, and near the mouth of the sea, one will find Fatrar Char a preserved mangrove forest with an area of 9.976 acres. To the tourists it is gaining the identity and status as the ‘Second Sundarbans’. Keura, Geora, Sundari, Bayn, Garan, Golpata etc. with garan species plants, and monkeys including boars, and innumerable animals and birds are found to abound in the forest.
