Misripara Buddhist Temple

Misripara Buddhist Temple is located a few kilometres to the north from Kuakata. The 8.5 metres high Buddhist statue made of cement is the largest Buddhist statue of this country. Recently this statue has been reformed by the government financial assistance. Many native and foreign tourists gather here to see this statue. The largest Rakhain settlement of this area lies at Amkhola Para beside the Buddhist statue.
